Mysteries of the Superstition Mountains The Hiking Club invites all Sun City residents to hear the Mysteries of the Superstition Mountains on March 4 at 4:00 pm in the Ballroom. Per square mile, the Superstition Mountains are the most dangerous in the world. Over 600 people have died or gone missing looking for gold. David Czaplicki, a resident of Sun City Anthem at Merrill Ranch, and author of three fictional novels including his latest, The Superstitions Hidden Secrets, will discuss the research for this novel as it pertains to the high number of deaths and unexplained events in the Superstition Mountains.
