3rd Annual Luminaria Hike December 2nd, 5:00 – 8:00pm

Join the Legends of Superior Trails for the 3rd Annual Luminaria Hike on the Queen Creek Canyon segment of the LOST. There will be hosted holiday hot chocolate and cookies along with holiday entertainment at Besich Park at 240 Main St, in Superior. The Luminaria event will be held in conjunction with the Superior Chamber of Commerce First Saturday events.
The best time to hike the trail will be at dusk. The hike is self-guided. Wear sturdy shoes and warm clothing/layers as the evenings in the canyon are cool. Headlamps or flashlights are also recommended.

The Sun City Anthem at Merrill Ranch (SCAMR) Hiking Club has over 224 members who enjoy the outdoors and appreciate the beauty of Arizona’s deserts, canyons and mountains.  The Club organizes hikes in varying lengths and difficulties to serve the needs and interests of our members.  The Club also sponsors special social events and seminars to further our understanding of Arizona geology and history.  Club membership is open to all SCAMR activity card holders.
