Special Instructions:

This hike follows a stream bed with boulder hopping and a very uneven trail to the summit. Possibly very windy and cold at the summit. Views of rock formations, hoodoos and balanced rocks. Great views of Picketpost Mountain and Superior. Bring water and a snack.

Directions:

Take Felix Rd north to Arizona Farms Rd, turn right. Turn left (north) on AZ 79. Take the right ramp onto Hwy 60 east toward Globe. Past Superior, go through the tunnel to Magma Mine Road, turn right. At 1.5 miles, turn left on Forest Service Rd #315. Go about 3/4 of a mile. Park along the road. Parking is limited.
