This hike follows a streambed with boulder hopping and a very uneven trail to the summit. Possibly very windy and cold at the summit. Views of rock formations, hoodoos and balanced rocks. Great views of Picketpost Mountain and Superior. Bring water and a snack.

Directions:

This hike follows a streambed with boulder hopping and a very uneven trail to the summit. Possibly very windy and cold at the summit. Take the right ramp onto Hwy 60 east toward Globe. Past Superior, go through the tunnel to Magma Mine Rd, turn right.  At 1.5 miles, turn left on FS Rd #315. Go about 3/4 of a mile. Park along the road. Parking is limited.
