This in-and-out hike is a great opportunity to see and explore Wood Canyon and its interesting rock formations. This area is scheduled to be developed by the Forest Service into a new set of hiking trails. Bring water, a snack, lunch, and hiking poles. The last driving mile is very rough and requires 4-wheel trucks only. For those without a truck, rides will be arranged for the last mile.
