Special Instructions:

This is a point to point hike through the spectacular rock formations of Chiricahua National Monument. Overall the hike is downhill, but there is a 600’ climb near the start. The hike wanders through the Heart of Rocks Loop. Bring water, lunch and a snack. There is an entrance fee per vehicle or a National Parks Pass. Please note that there are no gas stations near the Monument. Get gas in Willcox.

Directions:

From McDonalds in Willcox, follow Hwy 186 (Rex Allen Dr.) south for 32 miles to Hwy 181. Turn left (east) on Hwy 181 to the visitor center. Shuttle leaves at 9:00 am for the trailhead or follow Bonita Canyon Dr. to trailhead.
