Special Instructions:

This hike is up-and-back down along Queen Creek. It follows the old road from Superior through the Queen Creek tunnel and then back down. There are some good photo opportunities. Dress warmly as it can be cold and windy in the canyon. Bring plenty of water and food for a snack and lunch.

Directions:

Take Felix Rd north to Arizona Farms Rd., turn right. Turn left (north) on AZ 79. Take the right ramp onto Hwy 60 East toward Globe/Superior. In Superior, take the exit ramp for 177. Turn left on 177. Just past the overpass, turn right into the entrance of old 60, just past the Do Not Enter signs. The trailhead is at the bottom of old 60.
