Special Instructions:

This is a loop hike that goes past a prehistoric Indian ruin where we might find pot shards. It has ups and downs through some washes, small canyons, near an old corral and a windmill. Bring water, snack and lunch.

Directions:

Take Felix Rd north to Arizona Farms Rd., turn right. Turn left (north) on AZ 79. Turn left onto Hwy 60 West toward Phoenix. Turn right on Mountain View Road just past Silly Mountain. Turn right on Apache Trail (Route 88) for 3.3 miles. Turn right on First Water Rd. Continue to end of road and the parking.
