Special Instructions:
This is a loop hike with nice views of Casa Grande Mountain and the surrounding area. The hike goes through a desert environment with some rocky sections. Sturdy footwear is recommended. Bring water and a snack.
Directions:
Take Hunt Hwy south to Attaway Rd. Turn right on AZ 287. Turn left on AZ 87 and follow for 10.5 miles to Mile Marker #124 (Selma Hwy). Turn right. Follow Selma Hwy for approx. 10 miles to Jimmy Kerr Blvd/E Main St and turn right. Follow Jimmy Kerr to S. Peart Rd (which is the first left turn) and turn left. Go under the I-8 overpass and follow the unpaved road. There is a trail sign. Turn left. *Note – do not use parking area that is just beyond the turn. Follow the unpaved road to the trailhead
