Special Instructions:

This is an out-and-back hike on the Arizona Trail along the base of Picketpost Mountain. Great views of Picketpost and the surrounding countryside. Bring water and a snack.

Directions:

Take Felix Rd. north to AZ Farms Rd, turn right. Turn left (north) on AZ 79. Take the right ramp onto Hwy 60 East toward Globe. Just beyond mile marker 221 turn right onto Forest Service Rd 231. There is a sign for Picketpost Trailhead. Go 0.3 miles to T in road and turn left. Follow 0.7 miles to the trailhead.
