Battle of Picacho Pass – Feb 24,2026

- Interpretive hike lead by Ranger Noah, starting at the battle memorial site with a quick introduction, continuing the story of the battle while hiking.
- Covered will be the history leading up to the battle, the battle itself, and the aftermath. Also planned are stops along the trail to give points of reference while discussing the battle and the history of the area.
- Hike distance is 1.5 miles with an elevation gain of 300ft.
Fees to enter the State Park: 2-4 people $20 car, 1 person $10.
Limit of 15 hikers
