Special Instructions:

This is an out and back hike with a view of Sabino Canyon and the Catalina Mountains. This hike begins from the Visitor Centre, Phoneline Link 27A to Phoneline 27 (4.9 miles), connecting to Blacketts Ridge Trail 48 (1.6 miles). The Blacketts Ridge section is steep with the majority of elevation gain on this portion of the trail.

The shuttle is NOT required for this hike, but there is an $8.00 parking fee or National Park Pass/Senior Pass. Bring plenty of water and food for a snack and lunch.

Directions:

Drive south on Hunt Hwy, turn right on Attaway. Turn right on Martin Rd to 287 and turn left. Follow 287 South to I-10 East toward Tucson. Near Tucson, take exit 248 W Ina Rd and turn left. Drive 7 miles east on W Ina Rd, keeping right onto Skyline Dr. In about 2 miles keep right onto E Sunrise Blvd. Travel about 6.5 miles to N Sabino Canyon Rd and turn left. Drive about 0.5 miles on N Sabino Canyon Rd to entry of parking lot on right.
