Special Instructions:

This is an out-and-back hike on Goldmine Trail that climbs to a ridge on Goldmine Mountain. There are great views of San Tan Valley at the top. This is a more difficult hike than the normal short hike. This hike requires an entry fee ($7/car) or a Maricopa County Parks Pass. Please divide the cost of the entry fee evenly among the carpool. Bring plenty of water and food for a snack.

Directions:

Hunt Hwy north 12 miles to Thompson Rd. Stoplight at intersection. Turn left on Thompson and follow to Phillips Rd. Turn right on Phillips and follow to entrance of park and parking lot.
