Special Instructions:

This is an interesting hike into a canyon with some scrambling over boulders and bushwhacking. There is an old mine site as well as a cave. You will see the wreckage of a WWII era plane lost during a training exercise in 1948. There are cat claw bushes along the way so be sure to dress accordingly. Bring water and food for a snack and lunch.

Directions:

Take Felix Rd north to Arizona Farms Rd, turn right. Take Arizona Farms Rd to AZ-79 and turn left. Merge onto Hwy 60 West and drive 5 miles. Turn right onto South Mountain View Rd, drive 1.7 miles. Turn right onto Broadway and drive 1 mile. The Broadway Trailhead will be on your left.
