Special Instructions:

This is an out-and-back hike on the Arizona Trail going north from the trailhead. There are views of the Gila River, a railroad bridge, and two crested saguaros. Bring water, snack and a lunch.

Directions:

Take Felix Rd north; turn right (est on Arizona Farms Road; turn left (north) on AZ 79; turn right to merge onto Hwy 60 east toward Globe. Take Exit 227 for AZ 177 south. Travel 16 miles and turn right on E Florence Kelvin Hwy. Road sign says Kelvin Riverside. Drive 1.2 miles; just before the bridge, turn right. Drive 0.2 miles and stay to the left. Look for a small AZ Trail sign. Go 0.2 miles and turn left into parking lot.
