Special Instructions:
This is an out-and-back hike on the Arizona Trail along the base of Picketpost Mountain. Great views of Picketpost and the surrounding countryside. Bring water and a snack.
Directions:
Take Felix Rd north to Arizona Farms Rd, turn right. Turn left (north) on AZ 79. Take the right ramp onto Hwy 60 east toward Globe. Just past Milepost 221, turn right on FS 231. There is a brown sign for Picketpost Trailhead. Follow the dirt road for approximately 0.3 miles to T in road and turn left. Follow road for 0.7 miles to the trailhead.
