Special Instructions:
This is an overnight camping hike just outside of Superior AZ. We will meet in the Union Center parking lot at 9:45 am and return the next day around 11:00 am. The departure time allows time to hike in, set up camp, explore the area, and eat dinner around the campfire. In the morning following breakfast, there will be time to hike around before breaking camp and hiking out. Each person will need their own camping gear. If you do not have camping gear, contact the hike leader and he will advise where you may be able to rent for this trip. Each person is responsible for packing and carrying their own gear. Pack it in, pack it out.
Directions:
Take Felix Rd north to Arizona Farms Rd, turn right. Turn left (north) on AZ 79, drive 9.7 miles to Hwy 60 East. Travel
east on Hwy 60 for 14.6 miles to exit 227, turn south on AZ 177. In 2.6 miles, turn right on E Arnett Rd. Go 0.6 mile and turn left (south). Drive 2 miles and park.
