This is a loop hike with a climb and panoramic views of the Superstitions. Bring a hiking pole, water and a snack. This hike requires an entry fee ($10/car) or a State Park Pass.

Directions:

Take Felix Rd north to Arizona Farms Rd. Turn right. Turn left (north) on AZ 79. Turn left onto Hwy 60 West toward Phoenix. Exit US 60 at Idaho Rd exit #196. Follow Idaho Rd north into Apache Junction for 2.1 miles. Turn right on Apache Trail (Hwy 88 ) for approximately 5 miles. Turn right into Lost Dutchman State Park entrance. Follow signs to Cholla Day use parking area.
