Special Instructions:
This is a strenuous out-and-back hike up Siphon Draw to the Flat Iron, where there are stunning views of the surrounding area. There are interesting rock formations along the way. We will lunch on the top of the Flat Iron. There is a $7 entrance fee or a State Park Pass. Please collect the entrance fee equally between carpool members. Bring plenty of water and food for a snack and lunch.
Directions:
Take Felix Rd north to Arizona Farms Rd, turn right. Turn left (north) on AZ 79. Turn left on Hwy 60 west toward Phoenix. Exit at Idaho Rd and turn right. Turn right at SR 88. Turn right onto the road to Lost Dutchman State Park and park at Siphon Draw Trailhead.
