Special Instructions:
This is an out-and-back hike in a wash (level but walking in soft sand) to a crested saguaro. The trailhead is at the south end of the park. This hike requires an entry fee ($7/car) or a Maricopa County Parks Pass. Please divide the cost of the entry fee evenly among the carpool. Bring plenty of water and a snack.
Directions:
Take Hunt Hwy north 12 miles to Thompson Rd. (stoplight at intersection). Turn left on Thompson Rd. 0.2 miles past Phillips Rd, stay right onto Brenner Pass. Go 3.6 miles to parking lot on right.
