Special Instructions:
This hike will pass through the site of historic downtown Pinal City, the old smelter, and wagon wheel tracks from the Silver King mine. The hike will pass by Indian ruins. After the hike return to your cars and visit the grave of Mattie Earp. Bring water and a snack.
Directions:
Take Felix Rd north to Arizona Farms Rd. Turn right. Turn left on AZ 79. Take the right ramp onto Hwy 60 East toward Globe. Just past mile marker 225, turn right. (If you pass a sign “Entering Superior”, you have gone too far). Go 0.2 mile and turn right. In 0.6 mile there will be a fence on the right. At the end of the fence keep going straight to a big roundabout. Turn right and go 0.1 mile and turn left to park.
