This is an out-and-back hike on an ATV trail. Potential for great spring flowers. Bring plenty of water and food for a snack.
Directions:
Take Felix Rd north to Arizona Farms Rd, turn right. Turn left (north) on AZ 79. Take the right ramp onto Hwy 60 East toward Globe. Just past mile marker 225, turn left on Silver King Mine Rd (FS 229). This is just before you enter Superior and across the highway from Superior’s Air Field. Follow 229 for 4.0 miles. Park in the wash at the point the road turns into an ATV Trail.
