Special Instructions:

This hike is filled with exciting views around every corner. Don’t let the elevation scare you. It’s not an elevation gain but an elevation decreases. The hike will be mostly downhill with a few uphill spots mixed in. The loop is really a figure eight. It consists of the Echo, Hailstone, Mushroom Rock, Balanced Rock, Heart of Rocks Loop, and Sarah Deming trails. Please note that there is no gas near the monument, so gas up in Wilcox. Bring snacks and water.
