Special Instructions:

This hike is definitely an advanced hike. The Hike starts at the Carney Springs Trailhead (also used to get to the Wave cave). The hike requires you to ascend 3 distinct ridges before reaching the Superstition ridge line. Each ridgeline affords you of a panoramic view not many people will experience. Once you reach the Superstition ridgeline you will continue to the “Three Sisters” for a beautiful view of the valley below. Make sure to bring plenty of water (min. of 3 liters suggested) and food for a snack and lunch.

Directions:

Take Felix Rd north to Arizona Farms Rd, turn right. Turn left (north) on AZ 79. Turn left onto Hwy 60 west towards Phoenix. Follow Hwy 60 for 7.6 miles and turn right on Peralta Road (FS 77) at stoplight. Drive approx. 6 miles to parking lot (on left side of road, if you get to Lost goldmine parking lot you had just driven by).
