CALICO TANKS (I)
Special Instructions:
Probably one of the best/most popular hikes in the park. You will go past an old historical sandstone quarry on the way up. Then up to the summit to see sweeping views of the Las Vegas valley. Bring good shoes/boots, a snack, plenty of water, and I would recommend hiking poles. There are restrooms at the trailhead and no shade on the hike.
Directions:
Starting at the visitors center drive north on the one-way road to the Sandstone Quarry parking lot (third parking lot on your right).
