Special Instructions:

This is an out and back hike on the Yetman Trail in the scenic Tucson Mountain Park. The trail leads to the historic Bowen Homestead, a stone house built in the 1930s, now missing the roof but the walls remain. The trail has two rocky areas that require use of hiking sticks or holding on to rocks Bring water and a snack.

Directions:

From The Tuxon parking lot:

Turn right on W. 19th St. to reach S. Freeway Rd and turn right.

At the first light, turn right onto W. Starr Pass Blvd.

In 2.4 miles, turn right at the light onto S. Greasewood Rd.

In 1.3 miles, turn left at the light onto W. Anklam Rd.

In 2.5 miles, turn left at the stop sign onto W. Speedway Blvd.

In 800 feet, veer left onto Gates Pass Rd.

In 450 feet, take the first left onto Cm de Oeste.

Follow for 0.7 miles to the trailhead.
