Special Instructions:

This hike is in beautiful Sabino Canyon in the Catalina Mountains. Although Hike Arizona rated this trail as 3.5, it is much easier than many Advanced trails, with the main difficulty being the steady uphill 20% grade. Bring plenty of water and food for a snack and lunch. Parking area for this hike has a fee.  Parking fee payment may be by cash or credit card.  Be prepared for either method.  Parking fees charged will be split between all hikers in the vehicle.

Directions:

Drive south on Hunt Hwy, turn right on Attaway. Follow 287 south to I-10 East toward Tucson. Near Tucson, take exit 248, W Ina Rd and turn left. Drive 7 miles east on W Ina Rd, keeping right onto Skyline Dr. In about 2 miles, keep right onto E Sunrise Blvd. Travel about 6.5 miles to N Sabino Canyon Rd and turn left. Drive 0.5 mile on N Sabino Canyon Rd to entry of parking lot on right.
