Special Instructions:

This hike is on a combination of trails through the rocks of Texas Canyon Nature Preserve. The trails are part of the Amerind Museum, and you will have time to visit the Museum after the hike. Following the hike and Museum, enjoy a late lunch at the local Dairy Queen where you can also visit “The Thing” Museum. The entry cost is $15.00 which includes entrance to Amerind Museum and Nature Preserve hiking trails.

Directions:

Amerind is in Cochise County, AZ, one-mile south of I-10, an hour east of Tucson between Benson and Wilcox. Take exit #318, Dragoon Road. The Amerind entrance is on the left (just past mile marker 1). Address is: 2100 N. Amerind Rd.
