Special Instructions:
This outing is for all levels. The three hikes leave and return from the same trailhead. The hikes offer spectacular canyon views. Also, see the historic wagon wheel tracks of the Silver King mine. Bring water and a snack for the hike. Following the hikes, plan to enjoy a cookout at the trailhead. Bring a folding chair and $5.00 to cover food costs. Plan to return to the Union Center by 2 pm. Bring plenty of water and food for a snack for the hike.
Directions:
Take Felix Rd north to Arizona Farms Rd. Turn right. Turn left on AZ 79. Take the right ramp onto Hwy 60 East toward Globe. Just past mile marker 225, turn right. (If you pass a sign “Entering Superior”, you have gone too far). Go 0.2 mile and turn right. In 0.6 mile there will be a fence on the right. At the end of the fence keep going straight to a big roundabout. Turn right and go 0.1 mile and turn left to park.
