This is an out-and-back hike into White Canyon with spectacular mountain views. Bring plenty of water and food for a snack and lunch.
Directions:
Turn left (north) on Felix Rd. Turn right (east) on Arizona Farms Rd. Turn left (north) on AZ 79. Take the right ramp on Hwy 60 East toward Globe. In Superior, exit south on AZ 177. Follow AZ 177 for 9.3 miles. Turn right (west) on Battle Axe Rd for approximately 1.9 miles. Go right, road unmarked, follows wash for 1.3 miles. Park near large dead tree – in wash.
