Special Instructions:

This is an out and back hike that descends 1100 feet from the trailhead into a canyon with cliff dwellings at the turn around. The dwellings are in a set of caves that will require a short scramble up off the trail to view. This is a great hike and worth the difficult drive. Bring plenty of water and food for a snack and lunch.
