Special Instructions:

This is an out-and-back hike that climbs to Fremont Saddle and then out to the Lone Juniper Tree. Fremont Saddle and the Lone Juniper Bluff afford wonderful views of Weaver’s Needle and the rugged canyon lands below. Bring plenty of water and food for a snack and lunch.

Directions:

Take Felix Rd north to Arizona Farms Rd, turn right. Turn left (north on AZ 79. Turn left onto Hwy 60 West towards Phoenix. Follow Hwy 60 for 7.6 miles and turn right on Peralta Road (FS 77). Stoplight at intersection. Drive 7.2 miles to the Peralta Trailhead.
