Special Instructions:

This is an out-and-back hike in the Superstition Mountains up to Fremont Saddle. At the saddle, there is a great view of Weaver’s Needle, and the rugged canyons on both sides of the saddle. Bring plenty of water and food for a snack and lunch.

Directions:

Take Felix Rd north to Arizona Farms Rd, turn right. Turn left (north on AZ 79. Turn left onto Hwy 60 West towards Phoenix. Follow Hwy 60 for 7.6 miles and turn right on Peralta Road (FS 77). Stoplight at intersection. Drive 7.2 miles to the Peralta Trailhead.
