Hackberry Spring – Photo Hike (SP)
Special Instructions:
This SPECIAL out and back hike will focus on landscape photography. Roger Degler, a professional photographer, will accompany the group to assist all hikers with the composition of their photographs. This is not a lesson on how to use a camera or cell phone, but how to capture the beautiful cactus and rockery in the area with whatever device you use to take pictures. Directions:
Take Felix to Arizona Farms and turn right. Turn left (north) on SR. 79 to Hwy 60 and go west towards Phoenix. Turn right onto Mountain View Rd. just after Silly Mountain. Turn right on Hwy 88 (Apache Trail). Turn right on First Water Trailhead Rd. Continue for approximately 2 miles to the Horse Trailer parking lot on the left side of the road. If you reach First Water trailhead at the end of the road, you have gone too far..
