Special Instructions:

This is an out and back hike along Horton Creek in Tonto National Forest. The fall colors should be spectacular. Since the trailhead is so close to Kohl’s Ranch, no gas contribution is required. Bring plenty of water and a snack.

Directions:

From Kohl’s Ranch Lodge, cross AZ Hwy 260. Follow Tonto Creek Rd (forest service road 289) for 0.8 mile. Park in the picnic area. Trailhead is on the north side of the campground.
