Special Instructions:

This is a loop hike on Casa Grande Mountain with nice views of the mountain and the area. There is an interesting marker used to calibrate our spy satellites located on this mountain. Bring water and a snack.

Directions:

Take Hunt Hwy south to Attaway Rd. Turn right onto AZ 287 and follow to AZ 87. Turn left and follow 10 1/2 miles to Selma Hwy and turn right. Follow Selma Hwy for approximately 10 miles to Jimmy Kerr Blvd/E Main St and turn right. Follow Jimmy Kerr to S. Peart Rd (which is the first left turn) and turn left. Go under the I-8 overpass and follow to unpaved road. There is a trail sign. Turn left. *Note – do not use parking area that is just beyond turn. Follow unpaved road to the trailhead.
