Special Instructions:

This is a loop hike starting in Box Canyon. There is a possibility of sighting Desert Bighorn sheep. Be prepared for a climb of 8 feet up and down boulders. Bring water and a snack.

Directions:

Take Felix Road to Hunt Hwy. Turn left on Hunt Hwy to AZ 79. Turn left (north) on AZ 79 for 0.2 miles to Price Rd (just before railroad tracks). Turn right on Price Rd. At 1.8 miles stay right, still on Price Rd (GPS may say Price Station). At T-intersection (4.0 miles), turn right on Water Way. At 9.9 miles, stay left. This is Box Canyon Rd. Follow Box Canyon Rd for 3 miles. Parking is on the right. GPS coordinates are from this parking area.
