Special Instructions:

This is an out-and-back hike on the Arizona Trail going north with views of the Gila River, a railroad bridge, and two crested saguaros. Bring water, snack and lunch.

Directions:

Take Felix Rd north, turn right (east) on Arizona Farms Road. Turn left (north) on AZ 79. Turn right to merge onto Hwy 60 east toward Globe.  Take Exit 227 for AZ 177 South.  Travel 16 miles and turn right on E Florence Kelvin Hwy. Road sign says Kelvin Riverside. Drive 1.2 miles; just before the bridge, turn right. Drive 0.2 miles and stay to the left. Look for a small AZ Trail sign there. Go 0.2 miles and turn left into parking lot.
