Special Instructions:

This is loop hike in the Superstition Mountains. This hike begins by heading up The Praying Hands Trail, then cuts over to the Massacre Grounds, and after a break, heads back to the trailhead. Bring plenty of water and a snack.

Directions:

Take Felix Rd to Arizona Farms Rd and turn right. Turn left (north) on AZ 79. Turn left on Hwy 60 West toward Phoenix. Follow to Exit 199, Old West Hwy. Stay right on Goldfield Rd for 3 miles. Turn left onto Lost Dutchman then right onto Apache Trail (Route 88) for 3.3 miles. Turn right onto First Water Rd. Drive approximately 0.6 miles to Crosscut parking area on the right side of the road and park.
