DESCRIPTION:Hike Detail Page\nThe stairs in Globe were constructed in the 1930’s offering miners and townspeople convenient shortcuts through town.  Now an urban trail\, it features painted staircases adorned with murals created by local artists. \n\n Walk the urban trail that covers 2 1/2 miles\, climbs 7 staircases (305 steps) and crosses 2 pedestrian footbridges throughout the neighborhood of Globe.\n After the hike\, we’ll have lunch at a local restaurant.  If you have extra time\, consider visiting the Center for Arts located in the Old Gila Country Courthouse and exploring local shops.\nLimit of 15 hikers.
